About the Author
Michelle Blanchet taught social studies in Switzerland and the United States before founding the Educators’ Lab, which supports teacher-driven curriculum design. Brian Deters has taught social studies for twenty-seven years and currently teaches sociology and civics at Morton High School in Illinois.
